Math in the Matrix MathDash Competition
The Math in the Matrix MathDash competition is free and open to everyone (students and adults).

There are 4 different divisions based on your experience, which will automatically be determined based on questions at registration.

There are 10 problems per division to be solved in 60 minutes.

MathDash is generously hosting the competition on their website.
​
MathDash is the math-equivalent of chess.com. It has a live arena where players can compete against each other LIVE in multiple modes, including Contest Math and Lightning Math.
​
Every few days, MathDash hosts live competitions (with cash prizes!) where you can see your real-time ranking on the contest leaderboard.

The competition has concluded. We had over 180 participants and $200 in prize money, both the most ever for any MathDash competition up to the time this competition was hosted.

James Stewart
Lead Problem Writer, Test Solver, Website Developer
James has been writing original math problems and hosting math competitions since 2020. He is a 2x AIME qualifier and scored in the top 1% (DHR) on AMC 8 and 10. James is also a Spirit of Ramanujan Fellow and the founder of the MegaMath Channel. He enjoys rock climbing, skiing, and writing math problems.

Oron Wang
Problem Writer, Test Solver
Oron is a 3-time USAJMO qualifier and MATHCOUNTS Written Champion. He is a problem-writer for the Exeter Math Club Competition. Aside from math, he also enjoys playing the piano.​​

Daniel Sun
Problem Writer, Test Solver, MathDash Co-Founder
Daniel is a 2016 MOPper and 3x USAMO qualifier. After graduating from MIT, he traded at Jane Street and continued to coach students in math. He is now creating mathdash.live, the best place to train for math competitions.
